S. A. Carmody
S. A. Carmody is a British author and the founder of KMCS Publishing. She writes contemporary, historical and time-travel fiction, often exploring family, identity, social change and the ways in which the past continues to shape the present.

Her fiction includes Confessions of a Cat-Hater, a warm and sharply observed contemporary novel selected as a BookLife Reviews Editor’s Pick, and the Through Time series, which combines historical settings with emotionally driven stories of love, loss and connection across generations. She is also the author of the Rocket to the Past children’s history series.

Alongside her fiction, S. A. Carmody writes accessible non-fiction on British culture, social history and sport. Her published work includes Why Gen X Had It All, Cool Britannia & Beyond, Bat, Bowl & Beyond and The Little Book of First-World Problems. She has also produced modernised and annotated editions of classic works.

With a background in journalism, media and communications, she brings a strong interest in people, politics, community and British social history to her writing. She lives in Leeds with her family.
Dan Harcourt
Dan Harcourt is a British author of political fiction. His writing explores power, ambition, loyalty and the hidden forces that influence public life.

His forthcoming debut novel, The Last Majority, is a fast-paced political saga following a woman’s rise from working-class beginnings to the highest office in the country. Set against a changing political landscape, the novel examines the compromises, alliances and private ambitions that shape a nation behind closed doors.
​
Drawing on a lifelong interest in British politics, Harcourt writes character-driven stories in which public decisions collide with personal motives. His fiction combines political intrigue with family conflict, moral ambiguity and the long-term consequences of the pursuit of power.

He lives in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The Last Majority will be published by KMCS Publishing.
